After taking a year hiatus The LeBron 11 is only a few months old and already is getting the Elite treatment.
Generally Nike reserves the Elite treatment for signature kicks for players entering the NBA playoffs. Photos of the LeBron 11 Elite have been surfacing lately in multiple colorways including Mango.
The Mango colorway was a hit with the LeBron 9, but was skipped all together for the LeBron X. It seems likely Mango will be one of the first colorways launched with the LeBron XI Elite this year.
The LeBron 10 Elite didn’t reach the success of it’s predecessor. This was partially due to unpopular colorways, but also due to a hefty price tag. It seems that Nike is willing to remedy the first problem with a Silver/Lava style colorway, Crimson Home and the return of the Mango. It’s price on the other hand, puts the Elite as one of the most expensive kicks ever released. We are anticipating a price tag of $275, however that may change based on reception from the sneaker community. Originally the LeBron 10 was pegged for a $200 price tag but dropped to $179 on release due to criticism from the media.
