Just a few days after the first images of the KD 7 leaked, we get an official release date.

The KD VII will launch on 6/28 in the USA White/University Red/Obsidian colorway. It’s fairly unusual for a new silhouette to be kept such a secret until only 3 weeks from release. Clearly the Nike camp has been keeping a lid on upcoming kicks.

Pricing is still unconfirmed but the KD has been making a swift climb from only $88 to $130 in 3 years. As the KD only gains popularity and KD seems to have forgotten his motto to keep his kicks affordable for all, we should expect another $10-20 tacked on for the KD 7. Especially given the improvements in design and the star power of being MVP.

The What The KD will release this week at select locations, and next week in a wider release. It is likely that will be the last KD 6 non-elite colorway to release.
