This week has been interesting. The social media won’t stop talking about the 3Lab5. The Jordan XX8 finally gets elephant print. The forums keep asking about a Retro 11 concord restock. The Retro 4 Bred gets reborn.

Every retailer has been blasting Facebook and Twitter with 3Lab5 reminders. Carrying a hefty price tag of $225 with a moderate release stock, the Jordan Brand is placing a lot of stock in the bright and interesting Retro 5 releases this year.

Meanwhile the release date and price has been set for the Retro 5 “Bel Air” which will make 3 Retro 5 releases in a row.

The Jordan XX8 may be nearing the end of it’s cycle, but JB isn’t done with this silhouette quite yet. The Retro XX8 “Elephant Print Pack” features two very limited colorways with elephant print booties. Check out the Cement and Playoff Red Elephant Print XX8 at footlocker.com. They will be given out by ticket only, so be sure to visit your local House Of Hoops by the end of the day Thursday 9/19.

The classic Jordan Retro 4 Bred gets a new spin when the Jordan Brand merges the Retro 1 and Retro 4 in the AJ Retro 1 ’89 “Bred”. Meanwhile the rumor mill is crazy with buzz over a 2013 Retro 11 concord restock which, based on recent photo leaks, is more likely to be production of an all new AJ Retro 1 ’95 which brings the Retro 11 into the mix. First colorway on the line… concord. The AJ Retro 1 ’95 Concord is set to launch 10/4.
