This week we got breaking news, back-to-school colorways and the American XQ Retro 1.

The big news to come out this week is the announcement of Isaac’s Jordan Retro 5, which is not part of the 2013 Nike Doernbecher Freestyle lineup, but it’s own release.

The releases for this week haven’t been building much hype in the community or blogs. Our cop of the week is the LeBron X NSW Lifestyle Black Sail. Nike’s LeBron X has had more than a few interesting lifestyle releases and this is likely your last chance to get ahold of one.

Also dropping this saturday is the Air Griffey Max 1 Premium “Safari”, the Penny V “Highlighter” aka Volt and the Kobe 8 “Tony The Tiger”. All bright and colorful and aimed at the back-to-school crowd.

Finally, the string of Retro releases continues with the Air Jordan Retro 1 OG Black/Gym Red/University Gold. This appears to be the American answer for the ultra rare, ultra hyped Retro 1 XQ “Ignite Shanghai” release from earlier this year.
