The morning after the Cleveland Cavaliers took the 2016 NBA Championship title CocaCola peppered Ohio with limited edition Sprite cans. This promotion was coupled with a TV advertising campaign and hashtag #DAPTHEKING.
This isn’t the first time Sprite has released a LeBron collaboration, in fact LeBron has been signed by Coca-Cola to endorse Sprite and Powerade since his rookie year in 2003. LeBron is netting over $2,000,000 a year in endorsements from the beverage giant.
LeBron even released a special “LeBron’s Mix” pack that included a signature flavor of Sprite alongside matching Beats and Nike LeBron 12’s.
With cans of the 2016 Championship Sprite already on eBay, if you’re a fan in Ohio you might want to hit your local Gas Station or Grocery Store and grab a few cans before they’re gone.
