On Tuesday September 16th, 3 days after the release of the WTL11, many sneakerheads got unexpected news. According to multiple reports on twitter, many customers have had their pair of the What The LeBron 11 canceled or delayed by Nike, Finish Line and NBA Store.

According to the emails from Nike, this was due to overselling, or the practice of selling more stock than you have. Due to the error, it seems Nike is giving affected customers 20% discount coupons to compensate them for the disappointment.

Finish Line has, as usual offered no explanations or compensation for their canceled orders.

The NBA Store has reportedly canceled some orders, some customers are also getting shipping delay emails leaving them to wonder if they will ever get their kicks.

If you placed an order for the WTL 11 and haven’t gotten a verified tracking number yet, you should log into your account and check your order status. Either way one thing is certain, there were less pair of What The LeBron 11 than we originally thought.
