Kendrick Lamar’s first collaboration since leaving Reebok, the Cortez Kenny I, will drop at 10 AM on Friday January 26th.
First revealed on Kendrick’s instagram, the Cortez Kenny I features his latest album’s title on the outer wall. Kendrick has been rocking the Nike Cortez at most public appearances for a while now.
This is, obviously, just the first in a string of collaborative releases between Kendrick and swoosh.

Even with Reebok, Kung Fu Kenny seemed to prefer the classic, understated sneakers. Given his humble (no pun) sense of style it seems that the Cortez is a perfect match for this superstar collaboration.
