Today very well could have been a big day for retailers to flex their restock muscles and give sneaker heads something to talk about for weeks to come. A true trifecta for kicks. All-Star weekend had just come to a close, it’s President’s day famous for retail sales, and top it all off, Michael Jordan the GOAT himself turns 51.
The rumor mill was unusually quiet and it seemed as if nothing at all would happen… then all of the sudden…
It’s President’s Day and Jordan’s Birthday… and all I got was this lousy restock.
Another Fire Red Retro 5 restock. The quantities were extremely limited, and gone in seconds. Not very surprising since we saw the Fire Red 5 sit on shelves and restock 5 times last year. It wasn’t much, certainly nothing to match the greatness of the day… but hey better than nothing right? Right?
