The Parley Ocean x Adidas Ultra Boost Pack releases on Wednesday May 10th. Each shoe contains 11 plastic bottles worth of recycled plastic providing one of the most eco-friendly kicks in the world.

It all started with a sneaker made of recycled garbage from the ocean. Each year tons of plastic waste makes it’s way into the ocean leading to “garbage patches” the size of Texas floating in the Pacific ocean. While efforts to clean and recycle these continental crap piles are well under way, it will still be years before any real progress gets made. Parley is dedicated to cleaning up the ocean and has teamed up with adidas to release shoes partially made from recycled plastic.
