Kanye West’s latest album titled “Waves” (apparently NOT “Swish”) has been long anticipated. The Yeezy brand has been building hype steadily with clothing and sneaker releases. Recently Kanye released a string of new music on his Sound Cloud account including the controversial, sneaker themed “Facts” giving rise to speculation that the new album release was immanent.

Yesterday Kanye publicly posted the track listing for “Swish” further fueling speculation of the release.

Then a live Kanye West event dubbed “Season 3 – Swish” was announced. Described as a multimedia presentation scheduled for February 11th with presale for the tickets starting as early as Wednesday January 27th. Pitchfork media then announced that Kanye will be debuting his new album Swish Waves as well as his clothing line. As with Season 1 and Season 2 you will be able to view the event live in theaters across the US. Kanye is also expected to premier new clothing and footwear for Yeezy Season 3 which is expected to carry a much lower price tag than the first two “Seasons” as Kanye worked out a more efficient production and distribution model for his clothing line.

While the enormously hyped Yeezy Boost series is Produced and distributed by Adidas, the “Yeezy Season” clothing and footwear is independent produced which Kanye attributed to the luxury brand pricing. General sale of the live Madison Square Garden event tickets will be available January 29th at 10 AM Eastern. American Express members can get tickets on 1/27 and Madison Square Members can get access 1/28. It is unknown when tickets to the live broadcast in theaters will be available.

*UPDATES*
Since writing this article, Kanye west has changed the title of his album from “Swish” to “Waves”. The announcement seems almost unplanned as it comes only a day after tweeting the “Swish” track list.

Also within the last few hours, Ticketmaster removed the “Kanye West Season 3  – Swish” event page. Rather due to the event being canceled, or simply issues with the naming we don’t know.
