Wondering where to buy the Royal Blue Retro 1? Well it’s one of the most revered OG colorways so it won’t be easy. Releases are always limited which drives resale prices through the roof and makes retailers scrabble for a fair and orderly way to distribute them. Raffles are the easiest way to accomplish this and a good place to start for sneakerheads looking to secure a pair.

Nike is resurrecting the colorway for 2017 after a 4 year absence with upgrades similar to 2016’s Banned 1. While the 2013 release featured the hard “flat” leather, 2017 will see the same soft, textured leather used in the SBB’s and Banned Breds. This premium leather comes at a premium cost as well. Retail will be $160 in the US with gouging retailers sure to mark it up to pad their profits.
