The Shadow returns this weekend! Jordan continues to drop coveted colorways of their most popular silhouette and sneakerheads are pleased. The Retro 1 OG Shadow was last released in 2013. An instant sellout and resale favorite, it can’t be denied that it’s quality was sub par. Jordan brand hit a real slump in quality control and materials prior to their “remastered” phase. The 2018 version of the Retro 1 Shadow looks to step up the game.

Unfortunately unauthorized pairs quality has stepped up right alongside the Jordan Brand. This means many of the “early pairs” you see from resellers likely came from shady sources in China. If you can’t cop on launch day you’re better off taking the L than paying 3 bills for questionable kicks.

With adidas’s golden boy status fading and the Yeezy halo effect slipping, demand is getting higher for hyped Retros. Your chances at copping a pair aren’t great but there are a few raffles that might balance the odds a little prior to the drop.
