Unlike the KD VI QS “Birthday” released last month, the “People’s Champ” will see a 10/5 online release making it a little easier to pickup a pair.
Nike’s NSW Lifestyle merges casual materials and basketball shoes for an every day wearable with a unique athletic look. So far the Kobe 8 and LeBron X have gotten NSW treatment, now the KD VI gets a turn. This colorway dubbed “Birthday” launches this saturday September 14th.
The KD VI NSW Lifestyle “Birthday” Quickstrike will be very limited and tickets will be given out at select Foot Locker House Of Hoops locations 9/11 and 9/12. Winners can pick up their Kicks Saturday, 9/14 before 6 PM.
For the third year in a row, we will see a KD in a N7 colorway.
N7 is Nike Inc’s collaboration with the Native American communities. They organize sporting events, help rebuild facilities and participate in marathons and tournaments.
From the Nike N7 webpage.
“Nike N7 is our commitment to bring sport and all of its benefits to Native American and Aboriginal communities in the USA and Canada. Through activity, competition and play you can unleash the power of your generation. You can grow up active and healthy. Sport gives you self-confidence, enabling you to be a force for positive change in your community.”
This year we get an early look at the N7 inspired KD VI.
